June 2022 Meeting
Our speaker this month was Dr Lilian Hobbs FRAS who took us on a tour of the Jantra Mantra Observatory built in the 1700’s in Jaipar India. Lilian described all the large instruments that were built to perform observations of the day and night sky. Thanks to the internet Lilian was also able to show us views from parts of the observatory not accessible to visitors thanks to their 3D image viewer on their web site.
